THE VINEYARD
Our historic Chamisal Vineyard, the first planted in the Edna Valley in 1973, is nestled between the Santa Lucia Mountains and the cool Pacific Ocean on California’s Central Coast. The long hang time promised by the site develops intense flavor in our grapes, the perfect start to distinctive wines that are flavorful and complex.
TASTING NOTES
The 2006 reserve-tier Grenache contains the best selection of the most elegant Grenache grapes our vineyards have ever produced. Both the beautiful ruby hue in the glass and aromas of vanilla and freshly picked flowers and herbs fill the senses. Blueberries and cream coat the palate with an incredibly silky texture. Enjoy this sensual wine from now through the next 5 to 7 years. We only produced 120 cases of this beauty; production is extremely limited.
