Cinq a Sept

Named for a European tradition of taking the hours between 5 and 7 for personal and private activities, our Cinq a Sept holds its own sense of mystery. Crafted from the finest blocks of Grenache on our historic estate vineyard, this indulgent wine flaunts flavors of dark fruit and spice wrapped in silky, elegant tannins.

Monologue

The Monologue Pinot Noir is made solely with clone 114.  These barrels showed great complexity and balance, so Fin felt it would be best to bottle them without further blending.  The wine opens with notes of sarsaparilla and strawberry, and the mouthfeel has a lovely creaminess with undertones of fresh herbs, rhubarb pie, and a hint of spice on the finish.

Morrito

The Morrito Pinot Noir is sourced from the little morro or Morrito on our property.  The wine represents the unique terroir of this part of the vineyard, which has rocky calcareous soils and steep slopes.  The nose surprised us at first, with delicious strawberries and cream, but then the Morrito shined through with hints of forest floor and candied orange peel.  The palate mirrors the nose, starting off delicately and finishing full of cranberries and Chamisal Spice.
